Annika Gutsche is an independent film maker and media artist from Germany. She studied Media Art with Razvan Radulescu and Omer Fast at HfG Karlsruhe and Film with Adina Pintilie at HFBK Hamburg.
Annika seeks to explore the uncertainties and ambiguities that arise in her encounters with the world. Through the use of the moving image, she means to create a sense of simultaneity, with the aim to stimulate viewers to contemplate the layers of meaning from their own perspective.
Her artistic outcome ranges from documentary films and fictional shorts to multi-medial installations and performances.
